Tooty

The liver is your body’s super-factory — it does over 500 jobs! It stores energy for later, cleans your blood, helps digest fatty food and even builds the things your blood needs. It is one of the busiest places in your whole body — which is why Tooty moved in to provide the marching-band music.

Yes — the liver is one of the only parts of your body that can regrow! If a piece is missing, it can rebuild itself, like a starfish regrowing an arm. Scientists find this amazing, and so does Tooty, who plays a little victory fanfare every time it happens.

Your liver sits on the right side of your tummy, just under your ribs — nice and protected. It is the biggest solid organ inside you, about the size of a football in grown-ups. In a PeekaLab scan, that upper-right corner is where Tooty practices its silent trumpet solos.
